Business man and Jimmy Wanjigi and his supporters have been blocked from accessing Kasarani stadium where orange democratic party national delegates conference is being held. Jimmy and his youthful supporters arrived at Kasarani Gymnasium on around 1 pm today. The flamboyant politician was seen being forcibly being ejected from the entrance to the indoor arena and later drove away.
He recently claimed certain powerful individuals within the party hierarchy had expunged his name from the list of the delegates. The officers manning the venue insisted the politician was not among the among the orange democratic party delegates nor an invited guest.
There was a commotion between two faction one of which had accompanied Wanjigi and demanded he is allowed in. Jimmy who has been in a presidential campaign mood was forced to take shelter at Kasarani stadium police post before he eventually left the venue. The politician has recently been on the limelight for claiming to run for presidency with n ODM party ticket while the party have the flag bearer already, Raila Odinga.
