Media personality Sheila Kwamboka alias Kwambox is on to pastures new after leaving Homeboyz Radio.
The former Big Brother Africa contestant has landed a new gig with newly launched Standard Group-owned station Vybez Radio.
Kwambox will be hosting the breakfast show dubbed #VybezMVPs alongside Brian Mbunde from 6 am to 10 am. Sheila made her debut on Monday and took to social media to mark the beginning of her new job.
“It was our first show. And I’m grateful to all the #VybezMVPwho tuned in. Now you know I’m here to give you Morning Vybez with my new partner in crime…@brianmbunde (He’s in the photo just blended with the wall #MelaninJokes)” wrote the radio presenter.
Vybez Radio was also keen to welcome listeners to its morning show, posting: “Welcome to the #VybezMVP era with Brian Mbunde And Kwambox!! (We’re also not sure whether what Brian was doing can be classified as dancing. Happy new month!. Welcome to #VybezMVP with Kwamboka Sheila and Brian Mbunde. Get ready for four hours of good music and good vibes.”
Sheila joins Vybez Radio days after seven years at Homeboyz Radio where she co-hosted the ‘Ignition Drive’ show alongside Mike Wachira and Kerry Martin.
At Vybez, Sheila joins other new faces such as Nazizi and Chiki Kuruka.
