She may star on 1,000-lb Sisters.
But Amy Slaton can’t stop gushing over two specific brothers.
They also happen to be her sons.
Back on July 8, the reality star revealed she had given birth three days earlier, telling People Magazine at the time:
“The wait is finally over … Michael and I are happy to announce the birth of our son, Glenn Allen Halterman.
“The delivery was a huge success and now I have both of my miracle boys; our family is complete.”
As far as details are concerned, Amy welcomed her second kid — she and husband Michael are also parents to a boy named Gage — via c-section.
He weighed 5 lbs. 11 oz. at birth and measured 17.5 inches in length.
On Tuesday, July 19, meanwhile, Slaton jumped back on social media to share three new photos of Glenn… while also talking up the bond he’s already formed with Gage, who was born in November 2020.
“Omg glenn 2 week. How time fly when ur living out your dreams,” the TLC star wrote alongside the snapshots.
“Gage is learning to be the best big brother ever.
“Even watches glenn sleep. Checking on him.”
Prior to giving birth, Slaton had been keeping her fans well apprised with pregnancy updates via her social media accounts.
On June 20, for example, the proud parent posted a series of pictures that detailed the status of her expecting state.
One image showed that her baby was the size of a head of romaine lettuce at the time.
“15 more days until I get to hold my baby boy!!!” she captioned the post.
Amy and Michael announced they were expecting their second child together in an Instagram post in January.
“Gage is going to be a big brother in july 2022. Im due july 18th!!!! We are over the moon!!!!” Amy said back then.
The post included a photo of Gage wearing a onesie that read, “I’m going to be a big brother 2022.”
Slaton later revealed her impending baby’s gender by sharing a YouTube video of her gender reveal party that same month.
The veteran TLC personality qualified for gastric bypass surgery a couple years ago, which enabled her to safely get pregnant.
On two occasions now.
On the professional side, meanwhile, People Magazine also wrote the following upon confirming Slaton had once again become a mother.
Fans of 1000-Lb. Sisters will get an inside look at Amy’s pregnancy and motherhood journey as it’s documented on the upcoming fourth season of the TLC show.
This appears to be confirmation that 1000-Lb. Sisters Season 4 is on the way — and that Amy will play a central role!
Hooray, right?
With sibling Tammy in rehab and also hoping to undergo gastric bypass surgery in the near future, the show should have a lot of storyline fodder for Season 4.
