Late last year, 90 Day Fiance legend Larissa Lima moved back to Las Vegas after over a year in Colorado Springs.
The polarizing reality star has had a number of ups and downs, and has undergone a major metamorphosis.
Not all of Larissa’s surgeries have given her the desired results, however.
In fact, the self-styled queen has now revealed how horrifically botched some of her procedures really are.
Over the weekend, Larissa Lima took to Instagram to share the gory details of her botched procedures.
“Today, I would like to take the first step in slowly opening up,” she began.
Larissa wrote “about a plastic surgery procedure I received that is botched.”
“Like so many other people in this situation,” Larissa acknowledged.
She continued by admitting: “I’ve been scared and embarrassed to speak out.”
Larissa then detailed: “It’s been over a year now since I’ve been botched.”
“I did not want to speak of this before,” Larissa expressed.
“But I’m tired of being silent in my sadness,” she explained, “with no where to go to fix the problem.”
Larissa concluded: “My inspiration to open up is @lindaevangelista . Now, I have the courage.”
In a follow-up post, Larissa Lima’s botched procedure — the first one, anyway — was right in front of our eyes.
“First botched procedure: My belly button,” she wrote.
The photos are, simply put, not for the faint of heart.
“When I got abdominoplasty,” Larissa explained, “My belly button was removed and disposed without my consent.”
“I did 3 very painful revisions to create a belly button,” she shared.
“Unfortunately,” Larissa lamented, “it was never fixed.”
“My friend @nmbrowsandlashes tried many times improve the appearance through treatments,” Larissa wrote.
She tried treatments “like fibroblast.”
“It worked,” Larissa wrote, but “my a belly button isn’t possible to be made.”
Larissa is not the first person to wake up from surgery to a nightmare.
She found that a trusted professional has altered her body without her consent.
Anyone would be horrified.
It is unclear if Larissa intends to take legal action regarding her botched procedures.
(Clearly, this is about more than just her Kyle XY surgery. Though … that would be bad enough by itself)
We hope that, if Larissa is suing, she is following an attorney’s guidance on how to not damage her case.
Social media posts can potentially derail a lawsuit. Or any legal case.
That said, we are sure that Larissa knows that.
We cannot help but observe that she chose her words carefully.
At this point, many of her fans and followers have one question on their minds:
What’s next?
As in, which “botched” procedure will Larissa share next?
Frankly, speculating based upon her appearance would more or less amount to body-shaming.
Instead, we can only think of Larissa’s actual cosmetic work and social media posts.
That leaves very few clues, though she once spoke of dissatisfaction with an anal bleaching treatment.
At that time, Larissa expressed a desire to create her own brand for that treatment.
We would love to see her make that dream a reality. Especially after she had such a disappointing experience.
But that doesn’t sound like a “botched” nightmare. Not like Larissa’s forever-ruined navel.
Whatever Larissa has to share next will probably not be pretty. If it were, she wouldn’t call it “botched.”
We should all brace ourselves for some difficult viewing in the days and weeks ahead. Things could get gruesome.
But we should keep in mind that this is so much harder on her. Obviously.
It’s Larissa’s body. The scars and missing parts are all hers. This is her life, now and forever.
(At least, it is until new surgical techniques and other technologies allow her to patch things up. Fingers crossed!)
If Larissa is pursuing legal action, we hope that she finds justice. Justice can come in many forms. Let hers be biggie.
