Black Adam’s Dwayne Johnson On Strengths And Weaknesses

Dwayne Johnson has held many titles throughout his career, like WWE champion, beloved actor, producer, rapper, singer, business owner, and, now, a DC Villain.

And last night, during the world premiere of his new film Black Adam in New York City, I got to chat with the star about his latest role, as well as the personal powers he posses off-screen.

Dwayne told us Black Adam was a “passion project 15 years in the making” and now he finally gets to share it with the world.

And because superheroes and villains alike are equipped with extraordinary abilities, we asked Dwayne to identify his greatest strengths and weakness within himself.

“My greatest strength?” Dwayne questioned. “There’s no way to answer that without sounding like an asshole.”

“My greatest strength is probably taking care of my family, taking care of the people I love, taking care of my friends, and taking care of my fans.”

And as a bonus power, Dwayne added that he can “drink the hell out of some tequila.”

Now, when it comes to weaknesses, if we’re talking physicality alone, I’m sure none of us would want to go toe-to-toe with the former pro-wrestler. But, since we’re all human, I had to know what he considered a weakness.

“Well,” Dwayne said as he thought about his answer. “That’s why I’m divorced.”

But don’t worry, there’s no bad blood between him and his ex-wife Dany Garcia, who he was married to from 1997-2008. Not only are they the best of friends, but she’s still his business partner and advisor.

And while I’m sure we can play around with what he meant by that answer, for now, his weakness will remain a mystery, and he’ll continue on as The People’s Champ!

To catch more of Dwayne, be sure to check out Black Adam when it hits theaters on Oct. 21.
