Nathan Meggs has learned his legal fate.
As previously reported, the brother of Olivia Plath was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence this past March.
The incident took place in Hillsborough County, Florida on March 11 after Meggs was found “unconscious in the driver’s seat of his vehicle, while the vehicle was turned on, at the gas pumps of a gas station,” according to the official police report.

Meggs, 19, made his small screen debut on Welcome to Plathville on the Season 4 premiere of this long-running reality show.
The police report went on to note that Nathan “had vomited on himself, the odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his mouth, he was slurring his words, and he presented a noticeable sway.”
Yikes, huh?
Meggs failed numerous field sobriety tests and provided a breath sample that registered .087/.088% blood alcohol content.
He was booked for misdemeanor DUI and posted bail the following day.

On August 1, meanwhile, Meggs entered into a plea agreement that reduced his charge from DUI to reckless driving.
We’ve now learned that he was sentenced to 12 months of probation for this reduced charge, along with 50 hours of community service.
Nathan was also ordered to pay just over $500 in fines and fees.
Sounds like he got off pretty well overall, considering the state he was found in this past March.

It’s perhaps worth noting that Olivia Plath, who has been feuding of late with her in-laws, has not yet commented in public on her brother’s arrest.
In addition to the above punishments, Nathan will also be required to attend DUI school and use an ignition interlock device for three months.
Nathan moved in with her sister and brother-in-law several months ago, with Olivia saying on air at one point that the arrangement had been “interesting to say the least.”
None of the following examples are as troubling as an arrest for drunk driving, but Meggs isn’t the only Welcome To Plathville star with a blemish on his driving record.

Ethan Plath was cited for driving with a suspended registration and without valid insurance in January of 2021.
That same month, Ethan’s sister, Moriah Plath, was ticketed for speeding after she was clocked going 89 mph in a 55 mph zone.
She had to pay $250 as a result.
Finally, way back in the day, family matriarch Kim Plath was cited for not wearing her seatbelt.
