Kody Brown has resurfaced online.
At least… we think this is Kody Brown. We’re pretty certain that it is.
It’s simply hard to say for sure based on his revamped appearance.
The polarizing Sister Wives patriarch almost never posts anything on social media — be it Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or anything other similar platform.
But Kody did join Cameo several months ago (probably because he’s nearly broke and could use every penny someone pays him to receive a message) and just recently shared a video with a fan.
As you can see in the split-screen photos above, Kody came across very differently in this footage than he did in an earlier Cameo he filmed in June.
The father of 17 appears to have cut his hair and embraced his middle age, with more grey than ever before in his beard and his mustache.
Observers wasted no time weighing in on the new look, either, with one comparing the controversial to a famous singer:
“For some reason, to me, he looks like Kenny Rogers,” remarked one individual, while another added:
“I think this look is a lot better than the old washed up hippie surfer dude look he was sporting.
“It was like he was fighting tooth and nail to keep every last hair because he thought it made him look young but it didn’t.”
Kody and his spouses — Robyn, Meri, Janelle and Christine — will return next month to TLC with brand new episodes.
According to a network teaser, the polygamous family will kick off Season 17 of Sister Wives on Sunday, September 11 at 10/9c.

By all accounts, despite the veteran reality star having left Kody in November, Christine will play a prominent role on the show this fall.
On last season’s finale, Christine explained why she decided to leave Kody after 25 years together, citing a lack of intimacy as the basis for separation.
“It’s over. The intimate part of our marriage is over,” the 49-year old said.
“And to be honest, I’m not okay with that. I’m not okay with staying in a marriage where there’s no intimacy. That’s not a real marriage.
“I’m not interested in a half marriage or a partial marriage or whatever we have.”
Kody, who has openly questioned his own lifestyle, talked on the Sister Wives reunion special this past February about how he was “still in a grieving process” after breaking things off with Christine.
He was stunned by the development.
“I didn’t know she was going, ‘Oh, I don’t want to be married to Kody anymore,’” he explained on air
“I mean, I had heard rumors from my children that she had been kind of throwing things around and even other wives saying, ‘Oh she’s always threatened that she was going to leave.’ And I’m like, ‘Why am I in the dark here?’”
Could Meri be the next to walk away from Kody? Based on all of her cryptic messages of late?
No, she has insisted for quite awhile now… despite the status of her so-called romance.
“It just kind of came down to that we’re friends, which I guess is a good thing. It’s a good thing,” Meri said of her relationship with Kody in a December episode of the program.
“But I don’t know, I guess I just kind of have hope for more than that.
“If I quit and I walk away, then it’s not going to get better. I’m not going anywhere, y’all.
“You’re stuck with me, whether you like it or not.“
