As you must know by now, Christine Brown left Kody Brown back in early November.
“After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” she wrote in a statement at the time.
“We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family.
“At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family.”
Here’s the thing, though:
Christine walked out of her marriage last fall.
But she didn’t walk out of her unusual family arrangement, not entirely at least.
The mother of six has made it clear over the past several months that she remains in contact with her former sister wives; most notably Janelle Brown.
Christine and Janelle work together as salespeople (for a shady diet/supplement company) and they often travel together, as well.
The former also just made it clear that she’s still close with Janelle’s children.
On Monday, Christine shared a photo of herself with daughter Truely Brown as well as Janelle Brown’s son, Hunter Brown, spending the day at Medieval Times.
“Honestly, going to this medieval tournament with @hunter_elias01 and Truely was so entertaining!” Brown captioned the Instagram photo at the outset of this article.
“Nothing like yelling Huzzah and cheering on dueling knights!”
Hunter isn’t Christine’s biological son, of course.
But he’s Truley’s half-brother because they share father Kody.
Hunter recently moved close to home in Arizona, his mom Janelle announced on Instagram.
“This mommas heart is bursting,” Janelle captioned an Instagram photo of herself and Hunter.
“My son Hunter is ‘local-ish’ for the first time in 7 years. He was home during Covid for a few months of course. But now he is truly ‘adulting’ and not very far away from me.”
Together, aside from Hunter, Kody and Janelle share kids Logan, 27; Maddie, 26; Garrison, 23; Gabriel, 20, and Savanah, 17.
Christine and Kody had six children together:
Son Paedon, 23, and daughters Aspyn, 26; Mykelti, 25; Gwendlyn, 20; Ysabel, 18, and Truely, 11.
As for what the future looks like?
Sister Wives Season 17 has been confirmed.
It will premiere on Sunday, September 11 and, based on the very short trailer released by TLC… it looks like Christine leaving Kody will play a huge role in episodes to come.
How could it not, right???
