For over a decade, Britney Spears’ communications with the public were monitored and censored by the people who controlled her in every respect.
Now, however, Britney is finally free to talk about what her life was really like under her conservatorship.
And she’s been taking advantage of her newfound freedom to identify the people who were chiefly responsible for her 13 years of virtual captivity.
Not surprisingly, Britney places most of the blame on her parents, and there seems to be no end to the list of ways in which they mistreated her and failed to protect her at her most vulnerable.
On Monday, Britney once again exposed her parents’ abuse, this time focusing on her mother, Lynne Spears.
“It’s a little different with proof,” Britney wrote in an Instagram post that has since been deleted.
“Here are my text messages to my mom in that place 3 years ago … I show it because there was no response.”
Britney was referring to the period of time in 2019 when she was hospitalized against her will.
The screenshots show desperate texts that she sent to her mother, and indeed, it seems that she received no response.
“He was saying he wants to UP the seraquil and I’m like whoaaaaaaa horsey go f-ck yourslwf,” Britney wrote in one message, seemingly referring to a doctor in her hospital who had prescribed the antipsychotic drug Seroquel.
“Seraquil I thought was a sleep aid but it’s for bipolar and is WAAAAAY Stronger than lithium,” Britney continued.
“I literally feel alll the sick medicine in my stomach.”
“I feel like he’s trying to kill me,” Britney wrote to her mother about the doctor who prescribed the drug. “I swear to god I do.”
The pop icon accused Lynne of pretending that she never received the texts, writing on Instagram:
“When I got out, her words were, ‘You should have let me visit you and give you a hug.’”
Britney also shared texts to someone she described as a “friend from home.”
“She was supposed to help me get a new lawyer … I never heard back from her,” Spears wrote on Instagram.
“I need John bells number please, when u can,” Britney wrote to the friend, identified only as “Jansen.”
“Also what about the lithium in your opinion and it being monitored for so long … of course they can MAKE UP any excuse to keep doing it but is it really healthy and ok to give blood for THAT LONG,” she continued.
“I have a feeling you will say I will be ok but it still doesn’t make any sense.
The third screenshot shows texts that Britney sent to her court-appointed attorney Sam Ingham, whom she described as “the lawyer I didn’t get to pick.”’
“I want to talk about going to court when this is done and getting my medical rights,” Britney writes.
“My boyfriend the right to spend the night with me ,,,, how can I leave early ,,,, the plan I [gave] u for last month of what the fuck these fucking people want from me.”
Last month, Britney married her then-boyfriend, Sam Asghari.
Not surprisingly, Lynne was not invited to the wedding.
“In court my boyfriend needs to be able to see my children,” Brit’s text to her attorney continued.
“I’ve been in [the conservatorship] for 12 years I want it over ,,,, I woudk like to replace. Two security guards with new … i would like to to have a day in who comes to my house for security.”
From there, Britney shared her hopes for a brighter future:
“When this program is over I don’t want to work at all,” she wrote.
“I want to live for me and have an adventurous life … I want asswhole benson to let me drive again … I want to go on three vacations this years …. Miami ,,, New York. And [Kauai].”
Britney concluded her caption by claiming that her sister, Jamie Lynn, shut down her plea for help in brutal fashion.
“PS My sister’s text after not texting for 3 days was, ‘They’re not gonna let you go so why are you fighting it.’”
Once again, Jamie Lynn didn’t come off looking too great here.
Needless to say, she also wasn’t invited to Britney’s wedding.
Something tells us more revelations about the dysfunctional Spears family are coming soon …
