They’re planning a summer wedding.
It’s been less than one month since we watched Shaina Hurley grimace over an engagement ring from Kyle Abrams on season two of Love is Blind, before accepting the family heirloom — plus the sentiment behind it — and then ultimately calling off the relationship.
In reality, Shaina’s ideological concerns about Kyle and subsequent quest for Shayne Jansen’s attention took place about a year ago, as the Netflix series filmed during the spring of 2021.
So, although many of us just saw her recapping the events of last season on Love is Blind‘s reunion special, Shaina’s had some time IRL to move on from the televised drama.
It sounds like she did so pretty quickly. That’s because Shaina’s engaged to a man she’s reportedly been dating “for almost a year.” According to People, her boyfriend Christos Lardakis proposed last Thursday and they’re planning to exchange I Do’s this summer in Greece.

“Shaina is engaged. She’s been dating Christos for almost a year and this is the happiest I’ve ever seen her,” an unnamed source told the magazine. “He has stood by her side through all of the Love Is Blind drama and has been her steady in the storm.” The source reportedly described Shaina as “such a sweetheart” who’s now “found a man who loves her and understands her.”
Shaina introduced her social media followers to Christos only yesterday. “My ride or die forever ♾ ❤️🔥 ✞,” she wrote on Instagram, captioning a carousel of photos and videos that showed them traveling together in Mykonos.
