“Did I like doing it? No.”
Jamie Lee Curtis is an acting legend who’s been in tons of films you know and love.
And it’s definitely possible you’ve seen her performance in the 1983 comedy Trading Places, which also starred Dan Ackroyd and Eddie Murphy.
Jamie also went topless in the film, and in an interview with PEOPLE (The TV Show) she admitted that it’s not something she would do again, saying she was “embarrassed” by the experience.
“I was 21 years old and the part required Ophelia to take off her dress,” she said. “Did I like doing it? No. Did I feel embarrassed that I was doing it? Yes. Did I look OK? Yeah.”
“Did I know what I was doing? Yeah. Did I like it? No. Was I doing it because it was the job? Yes.”
Jamie also said she “would absolutely not” film a similar scene if offered to do so today.
“I wouldn’t do it today, it’s the last thing in the world I would do now,” she said.
“I also am married for 37 years, I wasn’t married then. I’m a mother of children. Absolutely not.”
