The Club Licensing board of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has given the green light for Young Apostles FC to host matches at the Nana Abrefa Nketiah VII Park in Wenchi.
The venue, which was initially put on hold due to concerns over the pitch, has now been deemed fit for Ghana Premier League action after meeting the necessary requirements.
With this latest approval, Young Apostles FC will go ahead with their highly anticipated clash against league leaders Asante Kotoko as originally scheduled for Wednesday, 19th March 2025.
The first meeting between the two sides ended in a draw as Young Apostles will look to secure their first-ever win over Kotoko in the Ghanaian top flight. However, Kotoko have been the third-best away side this season losing only three of their 10 away games. They have won three and drew four in the process.
With Nana Abrefa Nketiah VII Park now officially approved, the Wenchi-based club will be eager to make a statement against the league leaders in front of their passionate home supporters.
