Popular radio presenter Harey Adjoa Yeboah Asiamah Kusi, otherwise known as Ohemaa Woyeje, has made serious allegations against Vincent Opare, the CEO of Angel Media Group.
In a Facebook post sighted by Ameyaw Debrah Media, she accused him of sidelining her, interfering with her work, and orchestrating unfair treatment against her and other employees at Angel FM.
The controversy follows a recent incident on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, where security personnel allegedly blocked her from entering the Angel FM premises. A video of the clash surfaced online, prompting Ohemaa Woyeje to publicly share details of her grievances.
According to her, Vincent Opare has been deliberately frustrating her work by instructing his preferred hosts to take over her show, sidelining her team from joining Angel FM at its new building, and even demanding money from musician Diana Hamilton after she appeared on her show.
“CEO Vincent Opare would ask his preferred host to take my show for an interview that’s within my slot. He sidelined my hardworking team from joining Angel fm at d new building for no reason,” she wrote.
She also claimed that he falsely accused her of insulting him over the phone and pressured management to query her over baseless allegations.
Among other accusations, Ohemaa Woyeje stated that the CEO demanded she hand over any monetary gifts received from guests on her show for office expenses, frequently disrupted her live broadcasts, and dropped her from high-level discussions at the station. Additionally, she alleged that he has created a hostile work environment, stopped payments to resource persons, and failed to ensure timely salary payments.
She further accused Vincent Opare of dictatorial leadership, threatening employees with dismissal, and sharing private conversations with others. She expressed frustration over his handling of the station, particularly his lack of media experience and failure to retain experienced staff, including notable personalities like Yaa Brefo.
“He’s a dictator and threatens workers with dismissal at the least provocation,” she wrote.
Ohemaa Woyeje emphasized that Dr. Kwaku Oteng, the founder of Angel Media Group, has distanced himself from Vincent Opare’s actions and clarified that the CEO acted on his own when he allegedly brought masked thugs to the station. Dr. Oteng has reportedly advised Opare to stop frustrating her contract, as he still values her contribution to the company.
This latest revelation adds to the growing tension between the broadcaster and management, raising concerns about leadership and employee treatment at Angel FM.
