Mahama to visit communities affected by Tidal Waves in Volta Region on March 6

President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, will be in the Volta Region on March 6, 2025, to visit flood victims.

While there, the president will visit Amutinu, Agavedzi, Salakope, and its environs in the Ketu South Constituency.

A statement announcing the president’s visit said he will be in the region at exactly 2 pm.

The visit was necessary due to the recent tidal waves, which have resulted in the loss of property and displacement of some residents.

The President is expected to interact with affected communities, assess the extent of the damage and offer support to those affected.
