The Winneba High Court has received a petition to annul the results of the Effutu constituency parliamentary election.
National Democratic Congress candidate for the Effutu Constituency, James Kofi Annan and independent candidate, Louisa Buabeng are the two candidates who submitted the petition before the court.
According to James Kofi Annan who is the first petitioner, he is requesting the court to annul results from some 96 polling stations claiming that the signatories on the pink sheets are not those of his officially assigned polling agents.
