The Member of Parliament for Techiman North, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, held a thanksgiving service over the weekend to mark the victory of her party in the 2024 general elections.

At the thanksgiving service of Ofosu-Adjare, who has also been appointed Minister of Trade, Industry, and Agribusiness, by President John Dramani Mahama, one of the chiefs in attendance could not hide his love for the official campaign song of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2024 Election – Nacee’s ‘kwen kwen.’

He explained that the song was a thorn in the flesh of the opposition, New Patriotic Party, adding that they were so afraid of it.

“I monitored the election very well, and there is this one song that I liked very much. The opposition was very afraid of this song.

“So, come what may, we are going to play this song today,” he said in the Twi dialect.

The chief began singing the song and went ahead to request that it be played at the event.

At the sound of the song, the crowd rushed to the grounds of the event and zoomed into an ecstatic dancing frenzy.
