Popular Yoruba movie actress Lizzy Anjorin has revealed how her ex-husband’s uncle rejected her when he took her home for marriage, while also stating how she was treated by her ex-husband’s mother when she got pregnant for him.
In her statement, she said, “When my mother couldn’t afford to pay my tuition fee anymore, I told her that I wanted to start doing another job, and she agreed. I started washing plates in a restaurant, and that was where I met a young man who proposed marriage to me, and I got pregnant for him. My husband took me to his uncle, and he rejected me because I wash plates for a living. When I met his mother, she was happy to see me, and she asked me to follow her to another state where I was helping her to manage one of her shops. I later decided to move back to Lagos, and I left my child with my ex-husband’s mother in order to move on with my life.”
