Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, founder of Power Chapel Worldwide, has revealed an intriguing conversation with Justin Frimpong Kodua, the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), after he made a bold prophecy regarding the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as reported by Web on Monday, December 2, 2024.
In a recent church service, Kusi Boateng shared how Kodua, whom he affectionately refers to as his son, approached him with concerns after hearing the prophecy.
The prophecy predicted a massive victory for Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming presidential election, alongside a majority in parliament for the NPP.
Kusi Boateng recalled that Kodua had questioned the authenticity of the prophecy, wondering if it was influenced by their personal connection.
“Papa, are you sure of what you are saying?” Kodua reportedly asked, adding, “If it is because of me, let me just do my work so that if I fail, I fail alone. I don’t want to go with you.”
The prophet, who also claimed spiritual involvement in Kodua’s rise to General Secretary, assured him that his prophecy was genuine and had not been swayed by their relationship.
“You cannot protect me,” Kusi Boateng responded, dismissing any concerns about personal bias.
The prophetic message, which was delivered in July 2024, forecasted that Dr. Bawumia would be declared the winner of the December 7 elections by December 9.
However, Kusi Boateng also warned the NPP to be cautious, suggesting they could lose several parliamentary seats to the NDC.
“If they don’t take care, they will lose almost 7 to 10 seats,” he cautioned. At the same time, he predicted that the NDC could lose up to 24 seats if they were not vigilant.
In his sermon, the prophet detailed the aftermath of the election, anticipating that tensions would rise, but ultimately peace would prevail.
“Some people will try to cause mayhem… but there shall be peace,” he declared, emphasizing that Bawumia would emerge victorious despite the unrest.
Kusi Boateng also shared a word of encouragement for the youth of Ghana, urging them not to seek opportunities abroad despite the current economic challenges.
“In the next 7 years, this nation is going to experience an acceleration of advancement,” he assured the congregation, promising a period of unprecedented growth for the country.
