Cheddar pledges to address health worker migration through industrialization

Independent Presidential Candidate Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Cheddar, has vowed to address the issue of health worker migration by focusing on industrialisation.

During a visit to the Nursing and Midwifery Training College in Hohoe on November 28, he promised to create more job opportunities and improve wages for health professionals.

Bediako assured nursing and midwifery trainees that his government would make Ghana an attractive destination for healthcare workers, encouraging them to stay and contribute to the country’s development.

“The value of women in this country is dear to my heart and I’m here to advocate for you women. I want you to become entrepreneurs and I want you to become leaders. And on that note, I want to remind you that your thumb is your hidden power.

“We’re going to use this thumb to move the people who have not cared about us, the people who have not been worried about us, the people who don’t know how to take us to the destiny of our future,” Nana Kwame Bediako said.
