Stay in School to Avoid Struggles Like Mine – Actress Kyeiwaa

Veteran Ghanaian actress Rose Mensah, popularly known as Kyeiwaa, has urged young people to prioritize education, emphasizing its importance for future success.

In a heartfelt video shared on her Instagram page, Kyeiwaa reflected on the difficulties she encountered due to her limited educational background after relocating to the United States.

“Refusing to go to school might not seem like a problem now, but you’ll feel the effects later, especially if you travel abroad,” she said.

The actress advised young people to appreciate the sacrifices their parents make to provide them with an education.

“If your mother is working hard to take care of you and pay for your education, take it seriously. Don’t say you won’t go to school. You might not feel the impact today, but you will in the future,” she added.

Sharing her personal experience, Kyeiwaa admitted that her struggle with English has been a significant challenge.

“If you don’t go to school, you might find it hard to communicate in English, just like me. I’ve faced these difficulties, which is why I’m advising you,” she said.

Kyeiwaa is widely celebrated for her roles in iconic movies such as Akurasi Burgers, The Code of Money and Death, Akonoba, Cross Road, Abebrese, and Ogyam. Her advice serves as a reminder of the long-term value of education, especially for the younger generation.
