The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation, Charles Owusu, has announced that thousands of job opportunities will be created for young Ghanaians through the country’s Petroleum Hub Project.

In a recent statement, Owusu highlighted the significant potential of the project to provide employment opportunities for the youth, particularly in the growing energy sector.

He encouraged interested young people to submit their personal information for consideration in the training program, which is set to begin in January 2025.

He emphasised that “this initiative would equip participants with the necessary skills and qualifications to take advantage of the job opportunities emerging from the project.”

The Petroleum Hub CEO also urged the youth to support the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming elections, stressing that a strong mandate for the party would enable the smooth execution of the training programs and the broader development goals of the Petroleum Hub.

He further pointed out that continued political stability and support would ensure the successful implementation of the project, thereby creating long-term benefits for the youth and the nation.

The Petroleum Hub Project is part of the government’s strategy to leverage Ghana’s vast energy resources to drive economic growth and create sustainable employment opportunities.
