Former Minister who served under the administration of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo has revealed in an interview on Joynews that, his political party is not on the ballot sheet or ballot paper. The statement made by Professor Kwabena Frimpong Boateng became a shock to everyone knowing that the New Patriotic Party NPP is the number one on the ballot sheet for the 2024 elections.
Speaking in the interview, the host asked Professor Kwabena Boateng about his Political Party and who he is going to vote for as far as the upcoming elections are concerned. In response, Professor Kwabena Boateng is of the view that his real party is not on the ballot sheet for the 2024 elections. He revealed several reasons to indicate how unity has departed from the New Patriotic Party NPP.
Professor Kwabena Frimpong Boateng served under the leadership of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo from 2017 to 2021 as the minister for environment, science, technology, and innovation. Making such a statement that his real party is not on the ballot sheet sounds somehow weird.
“I don’t really feel to be part of this party (NPP). My real party is not on the ballot sheet. This is the party I loved, and I have an emotional attachment to it from the days of my grandfather. This is not Kufuor’s NPP where there is unity and love”. – Professor Kwabena Frimpong speaks.
