Dokrolchiwa (E/R), Nov. 14, GNA – Madam Josephine Awuku Ansaa Nkoom, the District Chief Executive for Ayensuano has appealed to the people of the area to vote for Dr Mahamud Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
She said the flagbearer, as the Vice President in past eight years had helped in bringing about improvement in agriculture and transformed, especially the lives of farmers in the District of Ayensuano in the Eastern Region.
Madam Ansaa Nkoom made the appeal at a durbar with the chiefs and people of the district to campaign for the party in the coming December 7, 2024, presidential and parliamentary elections.
She said in the past eight years the NPP government had assisted in enhancing agricultural acti
Development, provision of pesticides and fertilizer and investment in research, while providing crops that could withstand extreme weather conditions.
“These initiatives have created jobs for the teeming youth and improved the lives of our farmers,” she noted.
She urged the people to retain the government in power to continue with its good works and build a prosperous future for the district and the country as whole.
