Mr. Fiifi Boafo has made a strong case for the Bawumia-NAPO ticket and justified why the pair must lead the country during an appearance on Kumasi-based Ash FM.

Mr Boafo praised the dynamic partnership between Bawumia and Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, commonly known as NAPO, highlighting their collective achievements and dedication to Ghana’s development.

He argued that Bawumia’s record as Vice President speaks volumes, describing his accomplishments as unprecedented and transformational compared to former President John Dramani Mahama during his tenure as Vice President.

Reflecting on Bawumia’s tenure, he stated, “Dr. Bawumia has introduced initiatives that have tangibly improved the lives of ordinary Ghanaians. His work over the last eight years truly stands out in the history of Ghanaian politics.”

The Spokesperson of the NPP Vice Presidential Candidate also credited Bawumia for implementing Thirty-Five(35) key initiatives that, according to him, have directly alleviated challenges Ghanaians face.

These initiatives span sectors such as digital infrastructure, healthcare, and economic reforms. He commended Bawumia’s unwavering dedication, intelligence, and incorruptibility, emphasizing that these qualities set him apart as a leader.

“There is a certain composure and integrity that Bawumia embodies. It’s rare to see a leader of his calibre—someone so committed to serving without being swayed by external influences,” Boafo remarked.

Turning his attention to NAPO, Boafo outlined some of the accomplishments NAPO spearheaded in education and energy during his time as Minister, comparing and contrasting that with the NDC’s Vice Presidential Candide, Prof Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman.

Among them were the landmark Free Senior High School (SHS) initiative, the promotion of STEM and TVET education, and a transformation in classroom resources from the days of chalk to modern marker boards.

Additionally, he praised NAPO for reinstituting allowances for trainee teachers and, as Energy Minister, addressing the “dumsor” crisis that had plagued Ghana for years.

Boafo argued that this combination of Bawumia’s economic reforms and NAPO’s advancements in education and energy make them the ideal team to lead Ghana forward.

“The world is going through financial challenges, and now more than ever, Ghana needs achievers with a proven track record. Bawumia and NAPO have shown they can deliver the bold solutions needed for our times,” he asserted.
