OFFICIAL: Ex-Accra Lions assistant coach Nuru Yakubu resigns from Montreal FC, set for European move

Top Ghanaian tactician, Nuru Yakubu has officially confirmed his resignation from Accra-based Division Two League side, Montreal FC after one year.

The experienced trainer joined the lower-tier side in January 2023, having previously worked with Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions.

Nuru Yakubu, known for his expertise in youth football development and grooming young talents, also worked with Division Two side Madina Republicans before joining Montreal FC.

The renowned coach significantly contributed to the development of players like Alexander Agyarkwa of Selangor FC, Dominic Nsobila, and Osman Bukari. Yakubu. However, the gaffer also spotted Legon Cities George from the Colts to Montreal FC, which attracted the Ghana Premier League side.
