Leadership of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) say they have settled on a candidate to replace the late Akua Donkor, founder and leader of the party.
GFP Parliamentary Candidate for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Patrick Tetteh revealed this to the press on November 1 during a briefing on the current status of the party.
GFP has also assured to meet all requirements outlined by the Electoral Commission to prepare them adequately for the December polls.
“The party has met on several occasions, led by the General Secretary George Afful, we have a decision, and we are coming out stronger, so we are telling the general public to relax. Ghana Freedom Party has decided and we are coming out with our presidential candidate and vice presidential candidate to contest in the 2024 election” Patrick Tetteh stated.
The founder and leader of the GFP, Madam Akua Donkor passed on October 28 after short illness. She died at the Ridge Hospital.
