The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed strong optimism about the party’s chances in the upcoming elections, stating that their achievements will pave the way to victory.
He cited the NPP’s track record in areas such as healthcare, infrastructure, and economic reforms as evidence of the party’s commitment to national development.
The Vice President was addressing a gathering of party supporters and market traders at the Okaishie Market on Tuesday, October 29.
He believes these accomplishments resonate with Ghanaians and will ultimately secure voter confidence in December.
Dr Bawumia urged Ghanaians to look beyond campaign promises and recognise the NPP’s tangible contributions to the nation’s growth, adding that the party’s performance sets a solid foundation for further progress under his leadership.
“What I see based on all the places I have been indicates that Insha Allah, the NPP will win the 2024 election come December 7. We are going to win because of the work we have done.”
“Before we came into office, we promised that we would implement a free senior high school policy. At the time we made the promise, the then-president told us that we were deceiving Ghanaians.
“He said it was not possible. But I said that it was possible,” he stated.
