Just In: Five people drown in the Nwabe River

Five people died in a gruesome accident that occurred early this morning at Dabaa, Atwima Nwabiagya North District in the Ashanti Region. According to reports by Edhub on X, this accident happened after the driver of a black Toyota Vitz accidentally drove off into the Nwabe River. The driver was a dressmaker who was heading to leave her two young children at school.
Per reports, she picked up two other passengers on her way, including a man and another girl, for a lift. Unfortunately, as they approached the bridge over the river, she was startled by a heavy truck, which caused her to veer the car off the bridge into the river, drowning all five occupants.

This incident has saddened the entire Dabaa community to the extent that people have realized that no soul is safe in this world. This tragic incident would be remembered for years to come. May their gentle souls rest in peace.
