The founder of Glorious Word Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, recently addressed claims made by Thomas Kusi Boafo, the CEO of Public Sector Reforms, alleging that he received substantial funds from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to prophesy a victory for John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming 2024 elections.
According to Ghana Web on Sunday, October 20, 2024, During a sermon to his congregation, Rev. Owusu-Bempah expressed his disappointment in Boafo’s accusations. He recounted a remarkable experience in which he claims to have resurrected Boafo from death during a hospital visit.
“He was a corpse lying down, and I entered the spiritual realm to take his soul from death through Jesus Christ and gave him life again, which surprised the doctors,” he stated, emphasizing the divine nature of the miracle.
The pastor stated that he was taken aback by Boafo’s recent remarks, particularly after having saved his life.
“Kusi Boafo claims NDC gave me money worth 5 billion concerning the prophecy [Mahama would win the 2024 elections]. I don’t want to talk about him. Didn’t your wife tell you that you died?” he asked.
Owusu-Bempah firmly dismissed the bribery allegations, stating, “Can five billion buy me? God forbid.”
He reinforced his position, asserting that he would never compromise his faith or God’s power for monetary gain.
