Heartbreaking Farewell – Maame Dwomoh Boaten Laid To Rest In Private Ceremony After Tragic East Legon Accident

In a deeply emotional and private ceremony on October 19, 2024, Maame Dwomoh Boaten was laid to rest, surrounded by close family and friends who gathered to say their final goodbyes. The young victim of the tragic car accident that occurred on October 12, 2024, was remembered fondly by her loved ones as they grieved in an intimate setting, away from the public eye.

Maame Dwomoh’s untimely death, along with her friend Justine Agbenu, has left a profound impact on their families and the community. The fatal accident was caused when 16-year-old Elrad Salifu Amoako, son of Bishop Salifu Amoako, lost control of a Jaguar SUV and collided with a 4×4 Acura driven by Joseph Ackah. Both vehicles caught fire as a result of the crash, tragically burning Maame and Justine beyond recognition.

The community gathered the night before Maame’s burial, on October 18, 2024, for a candlelight vigil at the site of the accident. Family members, friends, and neighbors came together to honor the memories of Maame and Justine. The vigil was marked by heartfelt tributes, prayers, and moments of silent reflection. With candles and flowers in hand, those in attendance shared their grief and expressed their support for the bereaved families, united in sorrow and solidarity.
