Ghanaian Musician Koo Ntakra Is Mourning

Renowned Ghanaian musician Koo Ntakra is grieving the loss of his father , Mr. Jacob Okyere, affectionately known as Taa Taa or Kwesi Nyadu, who sadly passed away at age of 70. In a heartfelt message to his fans, Koo Ntakra invited all friends, family and sympathizers to the final funeral rites of his late father.

The burial service is set to take place on Saturday, 2nd November 2024, at Jumapo-Koforidua in the Eastern region. The laying-in-state will be held in the early hours of the day, followed by the interment at the Jumapo-Koforidua Community Cemetery. A family gathering will be organised at the Jumapo community centre in Koforidua after the burial ceremony.

The musician, known for his vibrant music and energetic performances, expressed his deep sorrow and urged his fans and loved ones to join him in giving a befitting burial to his father. “With a heavy much sadness in my heart, I would like to invite you all to the burial service of my dad at Jumapo-Koforidua on Saturday, 2md November, 2024. All are cordially invited” he shared on social media.

Mr. Jacob Okyere is survived by his wifo5, Mrs. Kuma Felicia and children including Emmanuel Bedzra(Koo Ntakra), alongside several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. The family has also slated a Thanksgiving service on Saturday, 3rd November, 2024 at St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church in Jumapo-Koforidua as part of the final rites

Mr. Okyere is survived by his widow, Mrs. Kumah Felicia, and children, including Koo Ntakra (real name Emmanuel Bedzra), alongside several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. The Okyere family has also planned a thanksgiving service on Sunday, 3rd November 2024, at St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church in Jumapo-Koforidua, as part of the final rites.
