Hearts of Oak Announce 22-Man Squad for Ghana Premier League Matchday 7 Clash Against Dreams FC

Accra Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara has announced his 22-man squad for the upcoming Ghana Premier League matchday 7 fixture against Dreams FC, set to take place on Sunday at the Tuba Astroturf.

The Phobians, looking to build on their recent performances, have included key players in defense and attack for the challenging away match.

The squad features goalkeepers Benjamin Asare and Kwesi Nketiah, who will be vying for the starting spot in goal. In defense, the team will be bolstered by centre-backs Samuel Amofa, Kelvin Asibey, Michael Awuah, and Konadu Yiadom, as well as full-backs Ransford Mensah, Yahaya Adraman, and Emmanuel Amankwah.

In midfield, Hearts of Oak will rely on the versatile Theophilus Collinson as a defensive midfielder, while Hussein Mohamed brings creativity in the attacking midfield role. Stephen Appian Asare and Salim Adams provide solidity in the central areas, while Kwabena Boateng and Ramsey Yusif will add flair in the forward positions.

The striking department is led by Hamza Issah and Asamoah Boateng Afriyie, who will be looking to convert chances and bring goals for the Phobians. Meanwhile, Amankwah Baafi and Mawuli Wayo are expected to contribute from wide positions on the left and right midfield, respectively.

Notable exclusions from the squad include Opppong Afranie, Martin Karikari, Nurudeen Aziz, Kasim Cisse, Michael Ampadu, and Sharif Shuab.
