Pastors should focus on prophesying rather than politics

Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu has called on pastors in the country to cease their involvement in politics and instead focus on their calling.

Speaking in an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz, the comic actor indicated that pastors’ involvement in politics can confuse church members.

According to him, when pastors receive revelations, they should find a way to communicate them to politicians, but they shouldn’t campaign for them.

“Lately, some pastors have turned themselves into campaign managers. In the past, when a pastor saw something about someone and told them, they left it to the person involved to either believe it or not. But now, pastors in both political parties are actively campaigning, and this can confuse churches,” he lamented.

“I would advise these pastors to stop campaigning for these political parties,” he added.

Kwaku Manu further urged Ghanaians not to engage in conflict in the upcoming December 7 elections.

“I would advise the youth not to involve themselves in any destruction in these elections. Because it can cost them their lives or cause damage,” he urged.
