CPP flagbearer blames NPP and NDC for Ghana’s economic struggles

The Presidential Candidate of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Nana Akosua Frimponmaa Sarpong Kumankumah, has criticised the two dominant political parties in Ghana, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), for the ongoing economic struggles facing the nation.

She holds both parties responsible for the mismanagement that has led to significant hardships for Ghanaians.

In an interview with Channel One TV on Tuesday, October 8, Nana Akosua urged citizens to support the CPP in the upcoming 2024 general elections as a means to effect meaningful change.

She highlighted that many Ghanaians are finding it increasingly difficult to afford three meals a day amidst the current economic climate.

Nana Akosua pledged to tackle these pressing issues by focusing on economic independence, affordable housing, and universal access to potable water if she is elected.

“There’s also the same truth that the big parties are the ones who have squandered our money, they are the very reason why you and I are in debt. They are the reason Kenkey is selling for GHC10. They are the reason why the young person cannot even pay for decent accommodation and a decent living,” she stated.
