The finance minister of Ghana, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam has urged the people of Ashanti to desist voting for former President, John Dramani Mahama in the forthcoming elections primarily because he is inexperienced in managing crises.

During a health walk in the Bantama Constituency of the Ashanti Region, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam reiterated that John Mahama is inexperienced in crisis management hence, he should not be voted for to come back to power.

According to him, the NDC and John Mahama have not experienced any economic crisis before hence do not have the experience in tackling anything crisis and how to churn out solutions to remedy such situations.

“The NDC hasn’t seen a crisis before, so John Mahama doesn’t have the experience to tackle a crisis. If you vote for Mahama, Ghana will sink into crisis, after crisis after crisis. He doesn’t have the experience to fight economic crisis,” he urged patrons at the walk.

Mohammed Amin Adam, however, urged the gathered crowd to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to improve the country’s standard of living.

“When Dr. Bawumia becomes President, the people of Ghana will feel improvement in their standard of living. You will feel it in your lives, your pocket, and your homes,” he urged.
