During his performance, the night took an emotional turn when DJ Azonto’s mother, also a queen mother, made a surprise appearance on stage, delivering a heartfelt tribute that moved both her son and the crowd to tears.
Popularly known as Sweet Mama Sarah, she revealed in a heart-touching speech a side of DJ Azonto many were unaware of—his lifelong dedication to caring for her since he was just eight years old.
“May God bless everyone here, and I am even short of words,” she began, with visible emotion.
“May God bless my son; he started taking care of me when he was just 8 years old, and he has never stopped,” she revealed.
As the fans screamed and showed their admiration, DJ Azonto’s mother took the opportunity to offer a piece of timeless wisdom, urging everyone to cherish and honor their mothers. “You all should take care of your mothers regardless of who or how she is. A mother’s blessing is priceless, and we shouldn’t take it for granted,” she added.
