‘We have outgrown NDC and NPP; Ghana needs a better leader now’

Musician Raphael Kofi Attachie, also known as Camidoh, has asserted his dissatisfaction with the current state of living in the country.

In an interview on Agyenkwa FM, the “Sugarcane” singer highlighted how illegal mining has severely impacted the country’s water bodies and has posed a risk factor on lives.

Blaming the government for this menace, he stated that Ghana has outgrown the two major political parties, and that what the nation truly needs moving forward is a progressive and development-oriented leader.

“Water that is supposed to be colorless now has color, and these things are powered by leaders in charge of affairs. I wish and pray for a good leader. We have grown to a point where it is not about political parties anymore. Ghana deserves a good leader ” He said.

He further emphasised, “Ghanaians are not asking for much, all we want are basic amenities like water, quality food, stable electricity, a clean environment, and others.

“The country is not safe anymore, because things are hard… right now I don’t even care about any political party, all I wish for is a better Ghana.”

The issue of illegal mining is currently a major concern in the country, with numerous netizens condemning it.

Many individuals have called on various platforms for the president to take proactive measures to address the menace.

Several protesters who took to the streets to voice their opposition have been arrested and arraigned in court for perpetrating violence during the demonstrations.
