Are you happy with how you are managing Ghana football?

Outspoken sports journalist Dan Kwaku Yeboah has taken a swipe at the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, over the management of football under his tenure.

According to him, Kurt Okraku’s claim that the Save Ghana Football demonstrators could have engaged his outfit personally to address their concerns instead of taking to the streets is a palpable falsehood.

The Peace FM sports journalist slammed Kurt Okraku for his abysmal management of Ghana football, accusing him of failing to take action when Dreams FC’s game with RTU, which resulted in goals galore, was alleged to have been a fixed game.

“Who should jaw-jaw with him? Does this FA listen when we speak? Why would you lie like that? When RTU played a fixed game with his club, Dreams FC, what didn’t we say about it? Did he [Kurt Okraku] make any move? That was the first time in football that the result of a fixed match was accepted.

“I have never seen anything like that. Does his conscience judge him right about how he is handling Ghana football? Is he happy with how Ghana football is being managed?” Kwaku Yeboah fumed while speaking on Peace FM.

The criticism comes after Kurt Okraku, during a meeting with the Parliamentary Select Committee on Sports, noted that the Save Ghana Football demonstrators, which involved sports journalists like Saddick Adams and Veronica Commey, could have spoken to his outfit directly rather than staging a public protest.

However, Kwaku Yeboah believes that such an approach would not have yielded any positive result as the GFA president barely listens to concerns.
