Kotoko coach Ogum says something sweet to his players after 1-1 draw with Berekum Chelsea

Asante Kotoko’s head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, expressed his satisfaction with his team’s performance following a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Berekum Chelsea in Week 4 of the Ghana Premier League.

The match, held at Golden City Park, saw the Porcupine Warriors take an early lead before Chelsea equalized, resulting in a stalemate. In his post-match interview, Ogum commended his players for their efforts against a formidable opponent. “I think our plan for the game worked because of the chances we created.

We had numerous opportunities that we should have converted. We tried to play the balls behind their laterals and we got a goal. To me, it was a good game, and both teams showed a lot of intensity. It was a good game,” said Ogum.

The Kotoko coach also reassured fans that the team is on the right track and is focused on securing more victories in upcoming matches. “We have played only three games. We have won one and drawn two, so I think it’s a work in progress.

The boys are doing well, and the fans should continue to support the team. I’m confident that going forward, we will give them what they want,” he added.

Looking ahead, Asante Kotoko will face Nsoatreman FC in midweek to address their outstanding Week 2 fixture, as they aim to build momentum in the league.
