The Multimedia Group Limited solidified its position as a leader in the Ghanaian entertainment industry by winning five prestigious awards at the 6th edition of the Medimafo Ghana Arts and Entertainment Awards.
The ceremony, which took place at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly Auditorium, celebrated the contributions of individuals and institutions that have made significant impacts in the sector.
Among the key honorees was Channel Manager Paa Kwesi Ackom, who was recognized for his pivotal role in advancing the entertainment industry.
In receiving his award, Mr Ackom was praised by the event’s organizers, Konamah Entertainment, for his selfless dedication and the positive impact he has had on society through his work.
In addition to Paa Kwesi Ackom’s achievement, other major figures from the Multimedia Group also received top honors.
Celebrated radio personality, Andy Dosty, was awarded an honorary distinction, recognizing his long-standing influence and contribution to radio broadcasting in Ghana.
His consistent dedication to quality programming has endeared him to many, cementing his legacy in the industry.
OPD, another standout personality, was named Best Radio Show Host (Male), an accolade that acknowledges his exceptional hosting skills and the impact he has had in engaging radio audiences.
Celebrated presenter Akwasi Nsiah also won the award for Best TV Show Host. His professionalism and ability to connect with viewers have distinguished him as one of the top TV personalities in the country.
Television was also well represented, with Adom TV, a subsidiary of the Multimedia Group, taking home the award for Best TV Station.
The station was lauded for its diverse and impactful programming, which continues to resonate with a wide audience across the country.
