He announced that the initiative aims to create 10,000 Ghanaian youth-owned businesses annually over the next four years.

The Adwumawura Program, he explained, will provide business development training, access to funding, mentorship, market support, and year-round business advisory services.

The program, which is fully funded, has secured the necessary allocation under the 2025 National Budget through the Ministry of Finance.

It will be overseen by the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program (NEIP).

The Adwumawura Program is designed to create, mentor, and support start-up businesses, ensuring their long-term success.

Who qualifies?

Individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 are eligible to apply for funding.

Applicants must possess a National Identification Card (Ghana Card) to be considered.

Beneficiaries will receive comprehensive support, including skills training, mentorship, access to start-up capital, and equipment.
