April 25th was a day filled with passion, resilience, and unforgettable moments at the CAF African Schools Football Championship in Ghana. Young talents across Africa rose to the occasion, delivering performances that will be remembered for years to come.
In the Boys’ Semi-Finals, Tanzania pulled off a stunning 1-0 victory over host nation Ghana, showing tactical brilliance and a spirit that refused to break under pressure. Meanwhile, Uganda and Senegal battled fiercely to a 0-0 draw, before Senegal triumphed 6-5 in a tense penalty shootout.
Tanzania and Senegal have earned their rightful places in the boys’ final, and the continent now eagerly awaits a clash of two fearless teams.
Over in the Girls’ Semi-Finals, the energy and determination were just as electric. Ghana’s girls displayed tremendous heart and skill, edging South Africa 3-2 in a thrilling contest that had fans on the edge of their seats. Uganda’s girls delivered a dominant 2-0 win over Morocco, showcasing their consistency and class throughout the tournament.
Uganda and Ghana’s girls’ teams will now face off in a final that promises fireworks, passion, and pure football excellence.
These victories are not just wins on the field — they are powerful stories of courage, teamwork, and dreams fulfilled. Every player has shown that greatness isn’t given; it’s earned with grit, unity, and an unshakable belief in the impossible.
