The Ashanti North Regional Police Command has launched a manhunt to arrest armed robbers who attacked a bus on Wednesday, April 13, 2025, in the Offinso South Municipality, leading to the tragic death of a 23-year-old bus conductor.
The Ashanti North Regional Police Command also assured the general public of heightened security
measures along highways within the region following a recent robbery incident.
In addition, the Command has deployed increased highway patrols, established mobile checkpoints, and activated rapid response teams to ensure swift intervention during emergencies.
In a statement issued on Friday, April 25, the Command said, “It is working closely with local communities and transport unions to strengthen intelligence gathering and encourage the prompt reporting of suspicious activity.”
The Regional Police Command urged the public to remain calm and supportive as investigations
continue and additional security operations are rolled out.
