Mahama Finally Reveals The Current Condition Of Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang

President and NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has provided an update on the health of his running mate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, amid recent speculation about her condition.

During a live appearance on United Television (UTV) at the national launch of the Free Sanitary Pad Initiative for female students, Mahama took the opportunity to reassure the public following widespread reports that Professor Opoku-Agyemang had travelled abroad for medical care. Her absence had fueled rumors on social media regarding the severity of her condition, prompting concern among party supporters and the general public.

Addressing the issue directly, Mahama stated that the former Minister of Education is recovering well and urged Ghanaians to remain calm. “Her Excellency is doing very well and will soon rejoin us to continue with the reset agenda,” he said, referring to the NDC’s broader vision for national transformation ahead of the 2024 general elections.

He emphasized that there was no cause for alarm and that Professor Opoku-Agyemang would resume her duties shortly as the party intensifies preparations for the upcoming campaign.
