Ghana Armwrestling Federation’s Edwin Amankwah elected Board Member of GOC

Accra, April 26, GNA-Mr Edwin Amankwah has been elected Board Member of the Ghana Olympics Committee (GOC) after accumulating 38 votes out of the total 63.

The experienced administrator had served as Board Member of the Ghana Armwrestling Federation over the past five years.

Mr. Amankwah speaking in an interview with the GNA Sports expressed excitement having been given the nod to be part of GOC’s transformational plan.

“I am happy about today’s victory. I believe this is the time to change the phase of the GOC and we must do that now.”

He said as a Board Member, he would help guide and oversee the GOC’s activities, making sure it stays true to its mission and operates responsibly.

Mr. Amankwah thanked the delegates for trusting him.
