The Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) has officially commenced the licensing of service providers in the gold trading sector, effective today, Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
Any Ghanaian aged 18 or above, as well as companies that are fully Ghanaian-owned, may now apply for a license either online via the GoldBod’s official website—goldbod.gov.gh—or in person at the licensing office situated at GoldBod’s main office in Accra.
The licenses currently open for application include the Aggregator license, Self-financing
