The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to embark on a nationwide ‘Thank You’ tour starting Monday, April 21, 2025, following its defeat in the December 7 general elections.

Speaking at a recent press conference, the General Secretary of the party, Justin Frimpong Kodua, emphasised the importance of expressing gratitude to God and to the party’s supporters across the country.

“We will be embarking on a ‘Thank You’ tour from next week. In all things, we give thanks to God. We are showing appreciation to the Almighty God for the elections, even though the outcome did not go in our favour,” he stated.

“We are going around to express our appreciation to the rank and file of our party. There will be a Thanksgiving service, both a Christian Thanksgiving service and a Muslim Thanksgiving service,” he added.

Kodua further disclosed that, as part of the party’s broader reorganisation efforts, a membership drive will also be launched.

“We are also going to embark on a membership drive. We’ll reach out to the various regions and provide details on how we plan to implement it,” he said.
