Eschew lawlessness and prioritise virtuous acts

The National Chief Imam, Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, has called on all Muslims to eschew lawlessness and prioritise virtuous acts during the 2025 Eid-ul-Fitr celebration.

This celebration marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting, which is also a significant festival on the Islamic calendar.

Speaking at the celebration, the spokesperson for the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu noted that times like these bring about the essence of living lives devoid of recklessness.

“Lawlessness is something that must be eschewed as we celebrate on a day like this, so all will see the beauty, and together in unison we shall say, Glory and Mercy be to Allah.

“And we, in unison, will sing his grace and his praises as we give him the praise. Alhamdulillah, all thanks and praises are due to Allah. We magnify him by saying Allahu Akbar; he is most great. There is no one worthy of worship except Allah alone.”
