A fresh appointee in President John Mahama’s administration, who also serves as a pastor, has reportedly purchased four high-end apartments in East Legon, Accra, under suspicious circumstances, according to broadcaster Kwabena Bobie Ansah.
Speaking on his program on Accra FM, Bobie Ansah claimed that the official deliberately kept the properties out of his name, raising concerns about transparency and accountability.
“We will keep reminding you. The game some of you are playing is being recorded. You have bought four apartments in East Legon but refused to register them in your name,” he stated.
The journalist further criticized the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), warning that the party is repeating past mistakes, similar to those that contributed to its 2016 electoral defeat.
“This is not what Mahama and the NDC promised Ghanaians. He must be identified and held accountable. Four houses in just four months? Unbelievable!” he added.
The allegations have sparked debate about corruption and wealth accumulation among political appointees, raising questions about the government’s commitment to integrity and good governance.
