Minority’s performance superior despite smaller numbers

Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, Member of Parliament for Assin South, has expressed confidence in the effectiveness of the Minority Caucus in Ghana’s Parliament, despite their smaller numbers.

He noted that various organizations and public assessments have ranked the Minority’s performance higher than that of the Majority in the early months of the 9th Parliament.

Rev. Fordjour emphasized that the “88 Mighty Minority” is operating at peak effectiveness, making a significant impact in parliamentary proceedings.

In an interview with Umaru Sanda Amadu on Face to Face on Channel One TV on Tuesday, March 18, Rev. Ntim Fordjour stated, “Absolutely, you can tell right from the onset, the first two months of the 9th Parliament, we have had many organisations and institutions ranking the performance of the Minority and Majority and how the public perceives us.

“Clearly, a majority of them have ranked our performance as more effective and higher than the Majority. With all their numbers, and so, without being disrespectful, but, with the greatest of respect, the 88 Mighty Minority are at our effective best.”
